📝 Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching and related duties will vary depending on the specific courses assigned. The primary responsibility is to deliver engaging and effective instruction in Japanese language courses at the undergraduate level.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Japanese or a closely related discipline 📚
• Experience teaching Japanese up to at least the intermediate level 🎯
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and student success 🌟

✨ Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of post-secondary teaching experience in a related field 👩‍🏫
• Availability in Fall 2024 to teach drill sections of Beginner and Intermediate Japanese on Monday 8:30 am to 1:40 pm. Schedule may be adjusted in subsequent semesters.

💰 Salary

This adjunct position offers a pay range of $1,160.00 - $2,230.00 per credit/contact hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s educational background, course type (e.g., drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and current market benchmarks.
