About This Job
Northwestern State University of Louisiana, located in Natchitoches, LA, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Full-Time, Non-Tenure Track Instructor of Modern Languages (French and/or Spanish). The position is set to start on August 1, 2026.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver introductory and intermediate French and/or Spanish language courses for both minors and non-minors
- Offer specialized classes including conversation and composition
- Provide high-quality instruction in both face-to-face and online formats
- Teaching load: 5/5
Additional Expectations
Ideal candidates will also demonstrate enthusiasm for:
- Participating in student recruitment and retention efforts
- Contributing to departmental service activities
