SBT Global, Inc. Is Hiring An Infra Server Administrator

The Server Administrator role is critical for maintaining and supporting the enterprise's server and application environment, requiring technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Job Overview

The individual will be responsible for managing server storage, building and deploying servers, coordinating projects, and assisting with IT infrastructure resources, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term planning.

Responsibilities

• Server & Environment Maintenance: Maintain server storage and application environments.
• Server Deployment: Build and deploy servers as per business needs.
• Project Coordination: Align and negotiate stakeholder requirements with HQ standards.
• Resource Management: Manage IT infrastructure team members (future scope).
• Support & Management: Provide daily support and maintenance for server environments.
• Hardware Installation: Rack and install servers as required.
• Disaster Recovery: Design and maintain testing processes for disaster recovery.
• Technology Evaluation: Collaborate with project teams to recommend supporting technologies.
• Monitoring: Oversee storage usage and forecast future demand.
• Lifecycle Management: Monitor hardware/software lifecycle; plan migrations.
• Reporting: Present status updates to IT management.
• Travel & After-hours: Occasional domestic/international travel, weekends, and after-hours work for change management and incident response.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Related Bachelor's Degree, or 3+ years relevant experience, or equivalent education/training
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Broad knowledge of servers and operating systems
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Leadership skills to mentor junior team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of network equipment
• Microsoft Certification
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard software
• Understanding of Active Directory & Windows infrastructure
• Fluency in English and Korean (a plus)
• Experience with server architecture, virtualization (VMware), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and DevOps tools (Nagios, Cacti, Jira)
• Knowledge of SAN (EMC, NetApp) and Symantec NetBackup

Additional Information

• Salary Range: $67,000 - $80,000, based on experience and qualifications
• Bonuses: Bonus eligible
