We are seeking a dedicated professional to assist in managing immigration psychology cases, supporting administrative functions, and contributing to our mission of providing exceptional forensic psychological services across the United States.

About Dr. Maria Espinola

Dr. Maria Espinola specializes in comprehensive forensic psychological evaluations, attorney consultations, and serving as an expert witness in civil, family, criminal, and federal immigration cases. Her office offers services in 42 states and 17 languages, ensuring diverse and accessible support.

Job Description

The Case Coordinator will oversee immigration psychology cases under the supervision of the Licensed Psychologist. You will assist with various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient management of our office functions.

Responsibilities

  • Communication & Liaison: Act as a bridge between law enforcement agencies, law firms, and clients by requesting and receiving information such as referrals, service agreements, legal releases, medical records, court orders, previous reports, and retainers. Maintain regular contact to monitor case progress.
  • Case Scheduling: Schedule immigration psychology evaluations based on received information and deadlines.
  • Record Management: Organize legal, medical, and other case documents to facilitate easy access and review for psychologists, interpreters, and evaluators.
  • Documentation: Record and update client contacts promptly and accurately.
  • Financial Tasks: Invoice clients, monitor payments, and process transactions efficiently.
  • Marketing & Outreach: Promote forensic psychology services to potential referral sources.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish 🗣️

Qualifications & Benefits

  • Education: Background in paralegal studies preferred.
  • Credentials: No certification or license required.
  • Schedule: 15-25 hours per week.
  • Compensation: $15 - $25 per hour.
