Law Offices of Marc J. Reiter Is Hiring An Immigration Paralegal Bilingual
The Law Office of Marc J. Reiter is seeking a dedicated bilingual (Spanish/English) Immigration Paralegal to join our busy practice specializing in Immigration, Plaintiffs' Personal Injury, and Workers' Compensation law. Responsibilities
- Immigration Case Support: Assist with intakes, file openings, client communication, form preparation, supporting evidence for USCIS petitions, and filing with EOIR (Immigration Court).
- Case Types: Handle Removal Proceedings, Family-Based Petitions, Asylum, VAWA, SIJS, U Visas, 601A Waivers, Adjustment of Status, and Citizenship applications.
- Injury & Workers' Compensation Cases: Aid with client intakes, file management, medical record ordering and indexing, discovery, pleadings, and court filings, including WCAIS submissions.
- Interpretation Support: Provide Spanish to English interpretation during client meetings and intakes.
- Additional Duties: Support attorneys with various administrative and legal tasks relevant to immigration and injury law.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 4 years as an immigration paralegal handling the case types listed above. 3-5 years preferred.
- Language Skills: Bilingual (Spanish/English), with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in both languages.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent writing abilities.
- Additional: Prior experience in Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury is preferred but not required; training provided.
Salary & Benefits 💼
The annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive salary and supportive work environment with training provided.
