Position Summary

We are seeking Clinical Social Workers I/II (Bilingual English/Spanish LMSW) to join our Behavioral Health Division at El Nuevo San Juan Community Health Center. Our dedicated team works across two floors, providing individual therapy and outpatient psychiatry support for both children and adults. Using evidence-based approaches, you will conduct assessments, diagnoses, and provide treatment for various mental health and emotional disorders. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse populations, promote mental well-being, and connect patients with vital resources, all while gaining clinical hours for an LCSW under supervision.

This position is onsite at the start. After six months, there's potential for a hybrid schedule with 1-2 remote days per week for established patients suitable for virtual therapy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• NY State Licensed LMSW
• At least 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment
• Capability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors impacting health

Key Duties

• Conduct bio-psychosocial and clinical diagnostic assessments
• Provide individual therapy and counseling services
• Maintain current clinical knowledge to support patient transitions and lifestyle changes
• Offer family counseling to enhance understanding and support
• Engage in crisis intervention and refer to community resources as needed
• Collaborate with medical providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Participate actively in clinical team meetings

Compensation

Starting from $72,000 up to $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
