🔍 Job Overview: Human Resources Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Human Resources Manager to oversee the routine functions of our HR department, including analysis and reporting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, benefits support, and administrative tasks. This role requires integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The position supports our Jacuzzi Bath Remodel locations throughout California.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute the organization's HR and talent strategies
- Manage recruitment alongside Talent Acquisition—conducting interviews, hiring qualified candidates, and onboarding new employees
- Administer HR programs covering timekeeping, compensation, leave management, disciplinary actions, dispute investigations, performance reviews, recognition, workers' compensation, and training
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and best HR practices
- Prepare and present reports of HR data to senior leadership, analyzing trends in recruitment, turnover, motivation, and legal compliance
- Collect HR metrics from HRIS systems, surveys, exit interviews, employment records, and labor statistics
- Stay informed on federal and California state employment laws/regulations, advising management accordingly
📅 Work Schedule & Compensation
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation starting at $100,000+ based on experience, plus an annual bonus.
🎯 Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years experience as an HR Manager in a multi-site manufacturing or construction environment
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of HR functions: analysis/reporting, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal laws, especially California employment laws
- Proficient with HRIS, payroll, and employee management software
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist beyond typical responsibilities
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and maintain confidentiality
