Job Summary 📝
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading HR operations, employee relations, ensuring organizational compliance, workplace safety, and supporting facility and office infrastructure. The role is a strategic partner to management, fostering a compliant, professional, and efficient work environment while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. We seek a highly organized, proactive professional with strong HR expertise, sound judgment, and discretion.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
1. Human Resources & Organizational Support 💼
- Manage daily HR operations and employee lifecycle processes including recruitment, onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
- Support performance management, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and corrective measures.
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and personnel records.
- Maintain and update HR policies, Employee Handbook, and employment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Promote employee engagement, organizational development, and internal communication initiatives.
- Coordinate employee education, onboarding, compliance training, and professional development programs.
- Implement workplace training on policies, harassment prevention, safety, and conduct.
- Maintain training records and support workforce development initiatives.
- Assist with HR audits, compliance reviews, reporting, and documentation.
2. Employee Relations 🤝
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee workplace concerns.
- Conduct investigations related to employee complaints, conflicts, policy violations, harassment, and misconduct.
- Guide managers on employee performance, conduct, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and employment practices.
- Maintain documentation related to investigations and employee relations.
- Collaborate with management and external counsel on sensitive employment issues and risk management.
3. Facility Administration & OSHA Compliance 🏢
- Oversee office and facility operations for a safe, organized, and efficient environment.
- Manage building maintenance, repairs, security systems, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with landlords, contractors, and service providers.
- Lead OSHA compliance activities and safety programs.
- Maintain OSHA records and incident documentation.
- Coordinate inspections, safety training, emergency procedures, and corrective actions.
- Support business continuity and risk mitigation initiatives.
4. Network & Office Infrastructure Coordination 💻
- Manage maintenance and support for office network equipment and infrastructure.
- Oversee management of office systems like internet, telecommunications, and printers.
- Coordinate with IT vendors for maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Administer inventory and assets of office equipment and technology.
- Assist with workstation setup and infrastructure needs for employees.
- Support cybersecurity and data protection practices in collaboration with IT support.
5. Administrative & Operational Support 🗃️
- Assist with administrative and operational management tasks.
- Contribute to process improvements and cross-functional projects.
- Maintain operational, contractual, and administrative records.
- Handle sensitive employee and company information with confidentiality.
Qualifications 🎓
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least 8 years of HR and Employee Relations experience.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in employee investigations and conflict resolution preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA compliance, workplace safety, and facility management preferred.
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure and workplace technology preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, or tech industries preferred.
- Experience working with Korean-based companies a plus, bilingual Korean highly desired.
