Position Overview: Employee Training & HR Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Employee Training & HR Coordinator to facilitate employee development, support HR administrative duties, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our training programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate employee training: Deliver training programs using prescribed curricula and materials.
  • Record keeping: Scan, organize, and maintain employee training records and documentation.
  • Administrative support: Enter and manage documentation requests, including department expenses.
  • Database management: Maintain a comprehensive database of training materials.
  • Data analysis: Collect, filter, and organize data for reporting and management summaries.
  • Scheduling and logistics: Organize training calendars, rooms, and resources; send communications and calendar invites.
  • Document management: Upload, revise, and maintain HR & Training documents on the company intranet.
  • Instructional preparation: Prepare training materials and resources, format SOPs, and support process workflow creation.
  • Research & surveys: Conduct research for training projects, employee surveys, and interviews.
  • Onboarding & coaching: Manage onboarding components and provide staff coaching & mentoring.
  • Resource development: Create and manage developmental programs for staff growth.
  • Effective Communication: Interact professionally with internal teams and external partners to achieve company goals.
  • Additional duties: Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 2 years of related experience in employee training, HR coordination, or administrative support.

Knowledge

  • Training principles
  • Management principles
  • Basic sales and marketing principles

Skills

  • Proficiency with computer hardware (keyboard, mouse, monitor)
  • Experience with software such as Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Preparation and presentation of training materials

Ability to

  • Present data effectively using various methods
  • Maintain a proactive attitude and seek continuous improvement
  • Act with urgency and meet tight deadlines
  • Review data for accuracy and relevancy

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role involves frequent sitting, data analysis, and communication, with occasional exertion lifting 10-50 pounds. The employee will operate standard office equipment and may need to travel for meetings or work at manufacturing/distribution sites. The environment is primarily office-based with some exposure to plant conditions, including noise, fumes, dust, and machinery. Evening and weekend work may be required as needed. 🌡️
