Position Overview
As an HR Operations Manager, you'll oversee comprehensive HR functions including payroll, benefits, HRIS system management, compliance, and HR financial reporting. You will supervise a team of 2–4 members and collaborate closely with department leaders to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
👥 HR Operations & Leadership
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
- Supervise and mentor HR team members to ensure operational efficiency
- Partner with department leaders to provide HR guidance and best practices
💼 Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage benefits administration including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and workers’ compensation
- Lead annual insurance renewals and payroll tax compliance efforts
📝 HRIS & Compliance
- Drive HRIS implementation and system optimization initiatives
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and multi-jurisdictional employment laws
- Maintain accurate employee records and oversee audit processes
💰 Financial & Reporting
- Lead month-end HR-related financial closings and reconciliations
- Support compensation analysis and workforce reporting
- Coordinate HR financial reporting activities with Accounting/Finance teams
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree 🎓
- Professional proficiency in Korean and English
- 5–7 years of HR Operations experience
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws (federal & multi-state)
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex functions)
- Proficient in PowerPoint and HR reporting tools
Preferred
- Background in accounting or financial operations
- Experience with HR systems implementation projects
