SST Partners Group Is Hiring A Hr Generalist Payroll Comp&Benefits

Join our innovative and rapidly expanding Beauty & Personal Care products manufacturing company as a Korean Bilingual HR Generalist (Payroll Specialty). This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in our HR operations while leveraging your payroll expertise and bilingual skills. 🚀

Role Overview

  • Location: Near Little Falls, NJ (On-site 5 days a week) 🏢
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ⏰
  • Salary: Up to $84,500 (Based on experience) 💰
  • Reporting To: HR Director 📈

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Payroll Administration (Critical)

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for over 200 employees using ADP.
  • Process complex payroll structures including Exempt (Salaried), Non-Exempt (Hourly), and Staffing/Temporary employees.
  • Audit timekeeping records via ADP Time & Attendance to ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Handle payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and tax withholding updates.
  • Serve as the main contact for all payroll-related employee and management inquiries.

2. Compensation & Benefits Administration (Nice-to-Have)

  • Support administration of employee benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k).
  • Perform periodic audits of benefits enrollments and deductions for data accuracy.
  • Assist with Compensation Analysis and benchmarking internal roles against market data.
  • Coordinate open enrollment periods and conduct employee benefit orientations for new hires.

3. General HR & Bilingual Support

  • Provide bilingual support (Korean/English) for employee relations, translations, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee files in both electronic and physical formats, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and periodic HR reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of intensive payroll experience 🔑
  • System Skills: Proficiency in ADP (Workforce Now preferred) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) 📊
  • Languages: Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal) 🗣️🇰🇷🇺🇸
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field 🎓
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of New Jersey and Federal labor laws and payroll tax regulations ⚖️
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive information, proactive work ethic ✨
