We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist with 6+ years of expertise in day-to-day HR functions. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about California employment laws, adaptable, and ready to support full-cycle HR activities across a collaborative team.
Salary Range 💰
$90,000 - $130,000

Key Responsibilities 🌟
- Payroll Administration: Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate reporting to Accounting.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead full-cycle recruitment for mid-level roles in the competitive Bay Area talent market. Conduct interviews, coordinate offers, and facilitate onboarding and orientation processes.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted partner to employees and managers, addressing workplace issues, conducting investigations, and mediating conflicts.
- DEI Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts across the organization.
- Benefits & Programs: Administer health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, commuter, and wellness programs.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, CA Paid Sick Leave, etc.), along with proper documentation and secure maintenance of employee records.
- Performance & Development: Support performance review cycles, goal-setting, and coordinate employee training programs, including technical upskilling and mental health awareness initiatives.
- HR Systems & Projects: Maintain and update HRIS systems like BambooHR. Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives to meet business needs.
Qualifications ✅
- Experience: 6+ years in HR Generalist or HR Coordinator roles, ideally within fast-paced tech or agency environments in Silicon Valley.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
- Legal & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and California employment laws.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems such as BambooHR, Workday, ADP, or Lever.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Skilled in creating and interpreting HR metrics while maintaining confidentiality.
- Multitasking & Adaptability: Comfortable managing competing priorities and supporting scalable HR processes.
- Bilingual Skills: Fluent in English and Korean, with effective communication across global teams.
