People Rock HR Services is seeking a skilled, bilingual People Operations (HR) Business Partner to join our dynamic, client-facing team. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, delivering customized HR support that simplifies processes and enhances employee satisfaction.

What You'll Do 🚀

As a People Ops Business Partner, you will be the go-to HR expert for your assigned clients, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and tailored support. Your responsibilities include:

  • Employee Relations: Advise on workplace policies, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive environment, including managing grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Compliance and HR Guidance: Develop and implement strategies for employment law adherence, and create forms and tools for consistency.
  • Training Facilitation: Lead engaging training sessions to boost employee engagement, policy understanding, and leadership skills.
  • Performance Management: Develop performance evaluation systems, update job descriptions, discuss KPIs, and support employee growth plans.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Analyze and suggest competitive salary structures, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Organizational Development: Assist with restructuring, change management, and cultural or workflow improvements.
  • HR Strategy and Policies: Conduct HR reviews, develop service calendars, and update policies, handbooks, and procedures aligned with business goals.
  • HR Tech and Systems: Recommend software and tools for payroll, records, and analytics.
  • Employee Engagement: Conduct surveys, analyze satisfaction, and plan initiatives to improve morale and retention.

Additional Responsibilities 🗂️

  • Coordinate with client partners (insurance, payroll, legal)
  • Translate HR documents and provide live interpretation when necessary
  • Maintain accurate client data using CRM platforms
  • Promote and present other People Rock HR services
  • Travel as needed, including quarterly visits to our Folsom, CA office

What We're Looking For 🔍

Required Qualifications ✅

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience with California labor law expertise
  • Experience conducting California Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
  • Strong client service orientation and HR consulting passion
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible communication style tailored to different audiences
  • Independent work capability, both in-office and remotely
  • Confidentiality maintenance
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, and CRM platforms
  • Valid California driver’s license or reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications ⭐

  • SPHR, PHRca, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP certifications
  • Experience in multi-client or consulting HR roles

Position Details 📋

  • Type: Full-Time | Exempt
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (flexible)
  • Location: Hybrid (remote, client sites, shared office)
  • Travel: Local travel required; quarterly trips to Folsom, CA; occasional statewide air travel
  • Physical Requirements: Use of laptop, sitting, walking; occasional light lifting
