Job Overview
The Human Resources Administrator plays a vital role in assisting various HR functions including recruitment, benefits administration, performance evaluations, and employee translation. The position involves maintaining open communication with management and supporting the organization’s HR policies, programs, and best practices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support management: Provide guidance on personnel issues and company policies at all levels.
- Recruitment management: Oversee full-cycle hiring, manage job postings, and maintain applicant tracking systems.
- Recruitment campaigns: Coordinate job fairs, community outreach, advertising, and other recruitment activities.
- Community partnerships: Build relationships with employment agencies and career centers for job postings and events.
- Database management: Ensure integrity of ADP database, generate routine and ad-hoc reports.
- Onboarding: Conduct new employee orientations, review policies, gather documents, and set up employee records.
- Performance reviews: Track and follow up to ensure timely completion of evaluations and salary increases.
- Open Door Policy: Promote transparency and accessibility of HR resources for all employees.
- Employee support: Respond promptly to HR questions, assist with translations during investigations and discussions.
- Translation services: Convert documents, manuals, and communication to Spanish for bilingual employees.
- Employee records: Manage onboarding, terminations, documentation, and secure storage of employee files.
- Company activities: Organize and promote employee recognition events, anniversaries, and celebrations.
- Safety support: Assist with safety meetings, messages, and serve on safety committees as needed.
- Benefits coordination: Support Open Enrollment, Wellness Fairs, 401(k) programs, and provide assistance to Spanish-speaking employees.
- Morale initiatives: Foster positive company culture by listening to employee feedback and raising concerns appropriately.
- Daily interactions: Address employee inquiries on policies, benefits, and processes, guiding them to solutions.
- Legal compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, manage work authorizations, I-9 forms, COBRA, FMLA, and PFMLA programs.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate, compliant personnel records in a paperless system.
- Internal communications: Design and update company bulletin boards, organize thematic monthly content, and promote employee engagement.
- Additional duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support HR operations.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office with willingness to improve skills
- Effective in email and electronic communication (Outlook)
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with initiative, energy, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster good working relationships with colleagues and management
- Meticulous attention to detail
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma is required
- Associate's degree in HR Business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- HR Certification is advantageous
- Experience in recruitment is preferred
- Experience with ADP Time & Attendance system is a plus
