We are seeking compassionate candidates who can converse in Hindi, Gujarati, or Punjabi to provide in-home care for our diverse clients. This live-in position involves working closely with clients 6-7 days a week, including overnight hours, making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Job Summary 📝

As a Home Health Care Aide, your dedication and caring attitude will help support individuals with their daily needs, promoting independence in their homes. You'll work with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, creating a warm and trusting environment tailored to each person's unique circumstances.

Key Responsibilities 📋

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor health — record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration in EHR/EMR systems
• Medication support — assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines, ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Handle specialized care — support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice, developmental disabilities, and more
• Operate medical equipment — including Hoyer lifts and performing catheter care when needed
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote health
• Perform light housekeeping — cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Document care — accurate medical records and detailed care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals — using EMR/EHR systems for seamless communication
• Provide emotional support — companionship to enhance clients’ quality of life
• End-of-life care — assist with hospice needs while respecting individual dignity

Qualifications 🎓

• Experience in home health care, assisted living, or nursing homes is highly valued
• Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical procedures such as vital signs, catheter care, medication administration, and CPR certification
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer’s is preferred
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR documentation systems
• Physical stamina and ability to lift patients safely with assistive devices like Hoyer lifts
• Exceptional observation skills to promptly identify health changes
• Compassionate communication to build trust across diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work independently following care plans; flexibility for live-in or varied schedules
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are often preferred for community visits
