Join Our Team as a Human Language Translator (HLT) Specialist | 🚀

We are actively seeking a HLT Specialist with Russian and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to join our Intelligence Division in Northern Virginia. This role focuses on Human Language Translation and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to national security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian 🇷🇺/🇺🇸
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with ≥ 4 years of relevant experience in HLT
• Must be a certified AWS cloud engineer
• Experience with Computer-Assisted Translation and Localization Engineering
• Experience with Translation Memory Server technology
• Proficiency in Desktop Publishing (Adobe Suite) and Microsoft Office tools
• Four (4) years of experience working with language technologies

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining cloud environments for Human Language Translation (HLT) tool deployment 🖥️
• Enhance AI/ML tools and applications such as machine translation, speech/text recognition, input methods, and human-machine language interactions 🤖
• Provide project-based technical support and facilitate technology rollouts across units and the enterprise 🚀
• Train machine learning models for machine translation (MT) and natural language processing (NLP) models
• Troubleshoot foreign language content issues related to triage, translation, transcription, interpretation, and localization 🌐
• Validate and manage features in CAT Tool Translation Memory (TM) Servers and HLT tools
• Identify and evaluate commercial tools for employment
• Automate file analysis, parsing, filtering, and develop scripts/macros to streamline processes 📝
• Prepare files for localization including re-coding and scripting
• Provide accurate project estimates
• Engage with technology providers to gather requirements, develop documentation, and train users 📚
• Define new features and enhancements for software products and perform quality assurance testing ✅
• Report bugs and assist with fixing issues as identified by users

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in HTML, XML, ASP, JSP, Python, or Java
