Job Description
BILINGUAL: Fluency in French (speech and writing) required 🇫🇷
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MI Project Management to deliver high-quality Synapse solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for HL7 implementation projects across Synapse products.
- Execute enterprise-level projects:
- Data migrations
- Interface integration and data conversion
- Integrate Synapse MI with third-party healthcare systems (e.g., EMR, PACS, CVIS, RIS, HIS, VNA)
- Maintain rigorous documentation including customer-specific solutions and best practices.
- Continuously learn new products and participate in SME programs.
- Engage in non-project activities: presenting at team meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and train peers to promote knowledge sharing.
- Work independently as the lead technical resource, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to quality, regulatory, and compliance standards including FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable laws.
Qualifications
- Technical professional with experience in designing, implementing, documenting, and executing complex technical projects
- Expertise in medical informatics, especially within radiology, cardiology, RIS, Synchronicity, Pathology, and VNA services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience). An AA with significant industry experience is acceptable.
- Proficient in HL7 and DICOM standards, databases (SQL, Oracle), and scripting languages (Lua, JavaScript, Python).
- 4-5 years’ experience in HL7 integration within hospital settings.
- Familiarity with EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc., and Canadian Health Province records.
- Hands-on experience with interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Iguana).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multi-task effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare network technologies, including MS Windows, TCP/IP, VMWare, and network protocols.
- Experience in radiology, cardiology, or hospital environments is required.
- Fluency in both English and French is highly preferred 🌍.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: $89,646.00 - $116,700.20 annually, depending on experience + 10% bonus opportunity 💰
