Essential Job Duties

• 🤝 Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, feeding, scheduling appointments, turning, and positioning
• 🚶 Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises as directed by a Home Care Nurse
• 🩺 Observe and report vital signs and symptoms following Nurse instructions
• 📋 Record weight, pulse, temperature, respiration rate, and track food/fluid intake and output when directed
• 🍽️ Prepare modified diets as ordered by the Home Care Nurse
• 📝 Maintain accurate documentation of services, client conditions, and progress
• 🧼 Ensure a safe, aseptic environment by following proper standards and procedures
• 🔒 Maintain client and family confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• ✅ Completion of an NYS Department of Health-approved Home Health Aide training program or enrollment in an approved trainee program under RN supervision
• 🎂 Minimum age of 18 years
• 📝 Ability to read and write in English
• 🩺 Physical examination meeting NYS Department of Health standards for Home Health Care Workers
• 📄 Submission of annual compliance documents (physical, QuantiFERON or PPD test, chest x-ray if required, TB questionnaire)
• 🆔 Presentation of 2 forms of ID
• 📚 Completion of 12 hours of in-service training annually

Starting at $18.65 per hour

Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Licensing & Certification ✅

HHA Certification is required to qualify for this role.
