🌐 Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hindi Language Translator responsible for providing accurate translation and interpretation services across education, legal, medical, environmental, and social domains.

✍️ Key Responsibilities

• Provide precise oral translation: lectures, conversations, and meetings.
• Utilize technology: transcribe spoken English when necessary.
• Translate documents: convert original materials into Hindi and vice versa.
• Edit translated content: ensure clarity, cultural appropriateness, and accuracy.
• Cultural sensitivity: recognize and respect nuances in source and target languages.
• Additional tasks: perform other duties as assigned.

🎓 Qualifications

• High School diploma, BA Degree, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of translation or interpretation experience in Hindi.
• Certified Translation Professional, with ATA Certification or relevant credentials preferred.
• Experience working with government agencies, legal, medical, or social service organizations.
• Fluent in Hindi: mandatory.
• Ability to pass background checks and project-specific screenings.
• Discretion and impartiality in translation.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Knowledge across various topics and cultural regions.
• Empathy and social awareness during interpretation.
• Physical stamina for extended work periods.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat).
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask.
• Capable of working independently or within a team environment.

🕒 Working Conditions

• Remote and professional work environment.
• On-call availability within 48 hours for notifications.
• Extended periods working at a computer.
