We are seeking a skilled Hindi Language Translator to provide essential translation services to individuals facing language barriers. The role encompasses translating documents and spoken communications across education, legal, medical, environmental, and social services fields. 🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Real-time translation: Provide accurate translations during spoken work situations such as lectures, conversations, and meetings.
• Utilize technology: Transcribe spoken English in compatible settings using appropriate tools.
• Document translation: Read original documents and translate them meticulously into Hindi.
• Editing & refinement: Edit translated documents for clarity, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
• Cultural sensitivity: Maintain awareness of cultural nuances in both source and target languages throughout the translation process.
• Additional duties: Perform any other responsibilities as assigned to support organizational goals.

🎓 Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• A High School diploma, BA Degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in translation or interpretation in Hindi.
• Certification as a Translation Professional; ATA Certification preferred.
• Additional translation certifications are a plus.
• Experience working with organizations such as the State Department, refugee services, healthcare, legal, or housing authorities.
• Fluency in Hindi is mandatory.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check; additional checks may be required based on projects.
• Demonstrated discretion, impartiality, and strong written communication skills.
• Knowledge across diverse topics with cultural awareness relevant to regional translations.
• Empathy, social attentiveness, and physical stamina for extended translation sessions.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.).
• Motivated self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks independently and within a team.

💰 Compensation

Pay Range: USD $60.00 – USD $80.00 per hour
