Position Overview

We are actively seeking Hindi Medical Interpreters for in-person assignments in hospitals and clinics throughout the Detroit Metro Area.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Hindi → English and English → Hindi interpretation in medical settings
• Facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and patients
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Follow National CLAS Standards and adhere to interpreter ethics
• Arrive on time and uphold a professional demeanor
• Document assignment details (time, mileage, notes) accurately in our scheduling system

Qualifications

• Fluency in Hindi and English
• Medical interpreter training or certification preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to various healthcare locations
• Ability to pass background checks (for hospital assignments)

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay of $30–$40/hour
• Minimum of 2 hours per assignment
• Mileage reimbursement of $0.70/mile
