Join Our Team as a Freelance Interpreter

Hanna is seeking bilingual and multilingual professionals to operate as 1099 Independent Contractors. As an interpreter, you contribute to promoting language access for all, supporting diverse communities and ensuring effective communication.

Position Details

• Availability: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
• Compensation: Starting at $25 – $30 per hour based on language demand, experience, and availability
• Note: Appointments are offered based on need and are not guaranteed

Qualifications

• Language Skills: Fluency in English and target language with understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural nuances 🌐
• Experience: Previous interpreting experience preferred, especially in medical, legal, or educational settings
• Professional Traits: Punctuality, professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication skills
• Independence: Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with others
• Technical Skills: Basic operation of communication tools
• Location & Eligibility: Residing in and authorized to work in the US (Please note: we do not offer visa sponsorship) 🛂
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; interpreting-related certifications are a plus
