💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • $310,000 to $390,000, dependent upon experience and productivity

🔎 Position Description

The Hematologist / Oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with solid tumor or hematologic conditions, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential to develop personalized treatment plans and support patients and their families throughout their care journey.

Key duties include:

  • Diagnose solid tumor and hematologic conditions
  • Determine treatment plans via biopsies, imaging, and diagnostic techniques
  • Design individualized therapies, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy
  • Monitor disease progression and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Explore alternative therapies and palliative care when appropriate
  • Collaborate with surgeons, pathologists, and specialists for comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and post-care
  • Conduct follow-ups to assess treatment efficacy and manage side effects
  • Participate in case reviews, clinical trials, and ongoing education
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and detailed documentation

The physician will see a variable patient load supported by dedicated clinical assistants, utilizing the MDLand EHR system. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is mandatory due to the predominantly Chinese-speaking patient base.

📝 Requirements

  • New York medical license
  • DEA registration
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
