About the Role

With Productive Playhouse, native Hebrew speakers can make extra money by working flexible hours! We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Hebrew Transcriber to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be converting audio and video recordings into accurate written text, adhering to client-specific standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills, strong grammar, and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• 🎧 Listen to audio recordings and transcribe spoken content accurately, following project guidelines.
• 📝 Perform high-quality transcription for all assigned client projects, adhering to specific conventions.
• 📚 Maintain knowledge of client-specific Written Domain Conventions and "clean room" policies.
• 🔎 Refer to training materials and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality.
• ✅ Review and proofread transcripts for accuracy and completeness.
• 🛠️ Report technical issues promptly.
• 💡 Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• ⏰ Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• 🔒 Handle confidential information with discretion, respecting privacy and security guidelines.
• 🔄 Participate in additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• ⚡ Typing speed of 35 WPM in Hebrew or higher preferred.
• 📝 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
• 🔍 Ability to quickly learn and adapt to client style guides and conventions.
• 🕵️‍♂️ Strong research skills, especially for verifying names, locations, and products.
• 💻 Proficiency with Mac, PC, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• 🤝 Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• 🌍 Strong relationship-building abilities across diverse perspectives.
• ✅ Proven track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
• 🔐 Professional handling of sensitive information with strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in linguistics, transcription, or related fields is a plus.
• 🛂 Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
• 🎂 Minimum age: 18 years or older.
• 🚗 Reliable transportation to commute to on-site facilities when needed.
• 🗣️ Proficiency in reading and typing in Hebrew, with the ability to understand various accents and dialects; passing a language assessment test is required.

Physical Requirements

• 🚶‍♂️ Ability to move around the office and similar environments, including standing and walking for extended periods.
• 🪑 Ability to sit for long durations while working on computers.
• 🌀 Ability to bend, reach, and perform tasks requiring physical agility.
