Position Overview

These roles involve teaching 3rd-5th grade students during the following times:

• Sundays: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM or 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• Sundays AND Wednesday or Thursday afternoons: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Candidate Profile 🌟

We seek passionate teachers who have a genuine love for Jewish education and inspiring children.

Qualifications ✅

• Presence: Warm, kind, enthusiastic, and able to connect with children in grades 3-5.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Familiar with Hebrew decoding, tefillah, Torah study, Jewish holidays, values, and customs.
• Teaching Methods: Skilled in engaging children through stories, art projects, games, movement, and conversation.
• Experience: Prior experience in day camps or classrooms is a plus. Fluency in Hebrew is advantageous.

Session Structure 🕒🎶

Each session includes:

• A 10-minute snack break
• 20 minutes of music facilitated by a music teacher 🎵
• A 20-minute Tefillah class once a week 🕊️

A teen assistant will support the teacher and classroom to ensure a smooth and enriching experience for all.
