📝 Job Description Summary

Welocalize offers a unique opportunity for individuals who enjoy a blend of linguistic and technical work. We are currently seeking Hebrew Localization QA Testers / Proofreaders for a project based in Cupertino, California. If you possess native-level fluency, combined with strong technical skills, and are looking for a long-term role, this could be a perfect fit!

The successful candidate will conduct test cases, identify localization bugs, report issues via an internal bug tracking system, and verify fixes once implemented. We value candidates with strong linguistic skills and a proactive mindset.

🔍 Job Details

• Location: Onsite in Cupertino, CA (100% onsite, no remote work). Client shuttle available.
• Workweek: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (including a 1-hour unpaid break from 12-1 pm). Total of 35 hours/week.
• Hourly Rate: $35
• Duration: Project-based
• Employment Type: W-2 employee, benefits eligible based on hours worked
• Work Permit: Must have a valid US work permit

🎯 Requirements

• Language Fluency: Native-level fluency in Hebrew (grammar, vocabulary, punctuation, composition)
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Experience in translation and localization projects
• Tech-savvy with testing experience on Mac OS X and iOS platforms
• Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish critical fixes from nice-to-haves
• Experience working with test cases, test scripts, and bug tracking systems
• Clear communication skills for reproducing and articulating issues
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams
• Capable of thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team ethic and professionalism
