Job Description

As a Hebrew Interpreter, you will primarily offer interpreting services in medical environments across Sacramento, Yolo, and Placer counties. The number of assignments will vary based on the volume of requests, your language qualifications, and experience.

Qualifications 📝

• Fluency in Hebrew and English
• Experience in interpreting accurately, completely, and clearly, maintaining fidelity to the original message in medical, legal, and other settings
• Ability to orally interpret content seamlessly between Hebrew and English
• Strong interpersonal skills to relate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Capability to meet the communication needs of the public, medical staff, community agencies, and government entities
• Relevant formal training and/or practical experience in interpretation
• Willingness to obtain necessary medical clearances, including vaccinations/immunizations and background checks
• Valid California interpreter license
• Access to a cell phone and a computer or smartphone
