We are actively seeking a proficient Health & Safety Officer (Arabic) to join our team in Qatar, bringing expertise in Arabic communication to promote safety standards across our operations. Responsibilities 🚧

• Communicate safety policies: Effectively convey safety procedures and guidelines in Arabic to ensure clear understanding among team members.
• Conduct risk assessments: Regularly evaluate work environments to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with departments: Work with various teams to address and mitigate safety risks.
• Develop training programs: Create and deliver safety education in Arabic covering best practices, emergency protocols, and compliance.
• Investigate incidents: Lead investigations into accidents and near misses, determining root causes and taking corrective actions.
• Maintain records: Keep detailed documentation of incidents and resolutions.
• Stay compliant: Keep up-to-date with Qatar’s health and safety regulations and ensure company adherence.
• Assist with certifications: Support obtaining necessary safety certifications and approvals.
• Emergency planning: Develop and implement plans for emergency scenarios, ensuring employee familiarity.
• Report performance: Prepare regular safety performance reports with key metrics and improvement suggestions.
• Promote safety culture: Work with departments to foster a resilient safety-first environment.

Preferred Qualifications ⭐

• BSc in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Environment, Health, and Safety practices within building operations or similar sectors.
• Knowledge of local Qatar health and safety regulations and control measures.
• Full-time position availability.
