\nResponsibilities
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting functions for the Brazil region.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company’s business objectives.Oversee cash management, budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting for the LATAM region.
- Conduct due diligence and manage post-closing integration for M&A activities.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors, and tax authorities.
- Represent the company before investors, financial institutions, vendors, and clients.
- Build and maintain key relationships with clients, suppliers, investors, and financial partners.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Implement and oversee financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in a senior finance role within the financial services industry, preferably in cryptocurrency exchanges, trade desks, or payment gateways.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations across multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of financial transactions, accounting principles, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in M&A activities, including due diligence and post-closing integration.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
