📝 Responsibilities

• Raise Arabic teachers’ standards to align with school expectations
• Ensure consistency and quality across the Arabic department
• Collaborate with school leadership to support departmental development
• Possibly deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions for staff

🔑 Requirements to Apply

• Degree in Arabic or Islamic Studies from an established university
• Valid teaching qualification
• 3 to 5 years of management experience (preferred)
• Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English
• Technologically savvy
• Experience with KHDA and MOE inspection frameworks

📝 Minimum Application Requirements

• Qualification: M.Ed, B.Ed, or relevant Bachelor's Degree with Teaching Qualification
• Experience: Minimum 2 years
• Applicants of all genders are welcome
• Western-trained candidates (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa)
• Native English speakers
• Newly Qualified Teachers NOT considered
• International experience preferred
• Open University qualifications NOT accepted
• Teachers with experience but no qualifications are NOT accepted

🎓 Additional Qualifications & Experience

• Your Bachelor's degree must be in Arabic and Islamic Studies
• Master’s degree is advantageous
• Experience teaching in the Middle East is beneficial
• Experience working in an Islamic environment/students is a plus

💰 Remuneration & Contract Details

• Salary: 12,000 – 18,000 AED/month, TAX-FREE, depending on experience and qualification
• Housing: Fully furnished accommodation provided
• Medical: State/Public medical coverage
• Flights: Annual flights included
• Leave & Evacuation: Bereavement leave and emergency evacuation support
• End of Service Bonus: Gratuity of 3 weeks’ salary per year of service
• Contract Length: 2-year initial contract, renewable by agreement
