Initially focusing on **Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI)**, this position offers a defined pathway to advance into **Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)**. Your primary responsibility will be providing accurate, consecutive interpretation mainly in medical settings, facilitating essential communication in social services and financial contexts.

Requirements

Experience & Certification

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year professional experience in remote medical interpretation
• English proficiency at Level C1 or higher
• Valid certifications accepted include EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE
• You must pass a terminology and interpreter skills evaluation during the hiring process

Core Skills & Compliance

• Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology
• Current or willingness to obtain HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications
• Willingness to successfully complete a background check via email

• Hardwired Ethernet connection to your router (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited)
