Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking skilled, highly motivated Haitian Creole Interpreters to join our 100% remote team. This role initially focuses on Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI), with a clear pathway for advancement into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). You will play a crucial role in facilitating accurate communication in medical, social, and financial settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily within medical environments 🏥
• Facilitate essential communication in social services and financial contexts 💼

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional remote medical interpretation experience 🩺

Language Fluency

• Minimum C1 fluency in English
• Valid certifications accepted from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE

Interpretation Certification

• Ability to pass a terminology and interpreter skills evaluation during the hiring process 🔍

Core Skills & Compliance

• Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology 📝
• Current HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications or willingness to obtain them

Background Check & Equipment

• Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email ✅
