Position Overview

We are seeking skilled, highly motivated Haitian Creole Interpreters to join our 100% remote team. Initially focused on Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI), this role provides a clear pathway for advancement into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). Your primary responsibility will be to deliver accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical environments, supporting social services and financial communication.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Professional experience: 6 months to 1 year minimum in remote medical interpretation
• English proficiency: Minimum C1 fluency
• Certifications accepted: EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE (valid certifications required)
• Interpretation certification: Ability to pass a terminology and interpreter skills evaluation during the hiring process

Core Skills & Compliance

• Mastery of: Medical and customer service terminology
• Certifications: Current HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
• Background check: Willingness to complete a standard background verification via email

Technical Requirements

• Internet connection: Hardwired Ethernet (Wi-Fi strictly prohibited)
