Position Overview

We are seeking qualified interpreters who are proactive, reliable, and professional to support language services throughout NYC. If you live within the NYC area and enjoy facilitating clear communication, this opportunity might be perfect for you!

This role involves managing a flexible schedule, traveling within the five boroughs, and working collaboratively with service providers to serve the community through your language skills.

This is a part-time, hourly role supporting the NYC Department of Education (DOE) with essential language services.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
• Willing to travel to all five boroughs of New York City.
• For remote interpreters:
• Access to a reliable internet connection.
• A quiet workspace.
• Suitable computer or phone for interpretation services.
• Ability to pass a background check.
