Job Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, pricing, and managing customized travel products across Canada and the U.S. This role collaborates directly with company founders to craft tailored B2B travel programs for European tour operators, combining product development, supplier sourcing, pricing strategies, and light operational support in a dynamic, boutique environment. 🚀
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Update: Develop annual travel product offerings aligned with market trends and client expectations for Canada and the U.S.
- Supplier Relations: Research, source, and negotiate with hotels, transportation providers, activity organizers, guides, and restaurants to ensure quality, uniqueness, and competitive pricing.
- Custom Itineraries: Create tailored travel itineraries for European tour operator clients.
- Marketing Materials: Develop program descriptions (primarily in French) and client-facing documentation.
- Pricing & Proposals: Prepare detailed quotes and proposals with a keen eye on margins and profitability.
- Operational Support: Provide logistical follow-up for confirmed bookings to ensure seamless execution.
- Vendor Relationships: Maintain and expand relationships with vendors and tourism partners across North America.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with leadership on product strategy and market positioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a structured, analytical, or client-facing role.
- Experience in the travel industry (DMC, tour operator, travel advisor, or product management) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Comfortable working with pricing models, margins, and numerical analysis.
- Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to serve demanding, high-end clients.
- Proactive, creative, and adaptable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong knowledge of North American geography and travel destinations is preferred.
