H Mart is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Grocery Purchasing Specialist to oversee procurement and inventory management for our regional stores, focusing on grocery, meat, and seafood departments. This role is essential in ensuring our stores are stocked with a diverse selection of fresh products while maintaining smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate procurement records and analyze weekly sales performance to optimize inventory.
• Gather and input regional order data such as Purchase and Sales Orders.
• Process various store orders, including special item requests and promotional event orders.
• Monitor warehouse inventory via the ARAM (Automatic Replenishment and Allocation Management) system.
• Conduct weekly warehouse operations checks by analyzing shipments and Gross Profit (GP).
• Identify missing items in each department to maintain product variety and stock levels.
• Compile weekly sales data, set promotional prices, and adjust prices for special items to improve sales performance.
• Prepare materials for weekly store and department manager meetings.
• Plan and coordinate marketing efforts such as local store events, new item promotions, and campaigns.
• Conduct market research to analyze market trends, identify potential suppliers, competitors, and new products.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bilingual in Korean and English (preferred)

Work Schedule & Compensation

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (lunch break from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm)

Annual Salary: $60,000.00 (FLSA Non-Exempt)
