About the Position

Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

Your Role as a Translator

As a translator at Epic, you'll utilize your extensive language skills to:

• Translate a wide range of documentation, training materials, and software
• Support our localization efforts, quality assurance, and terminology maintenance

You'll have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for managing and executing important translation projects. Your work will focus on:

• Clinical products
• Administrative materials
• Financial documentation

You will collaborate closely with our implementation, technical support, and sales teams to produce innovative healthcare software tailored for German-speaking organizations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)
• Excellent knowledge of German and English, in both written and spoken forms
• Strong experience translating from American English into German is highly preferred
• Ability to convey appropriate feeling, tone, and style in translations
• Knowledge of Epic software is not required — training will be provided!
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
