Position Overview

As a Translator at Epic, you will leverage your language expertise to accurately translate a diverse array of documentation, training materials, and software. Your work will play a vital role in our localization efforts, quality assurance, and terminology management.

What You’ll Do

• Translate a wide range of clinical, administrative, and financial product documentation.
• Collaborate closely with implementation, technical support, and sales teams to develop innovative software solutions for German-speaking healthcare organizations.
• Manage and execute important translation projects with a high degree of autonomy and independence.
• Contribute to the enhancement of Epic’s global software localization efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relocation: Willingness to move to the Madison, WI area; relocation expenses reimbursed.
• Languages: Excellent verbal and written knowledge of German and English.
• Experience: Prior translation experience from American English into German is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Ability to maintain appropriate tone, feeling, and style in translations.
• Training: Epic software knowledge is not required; training will be provided.
• Other: COVID-19 vaccination and eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
