Position Overview

As a Translator at Epic, you will leverage your extensive language skills to accurately translate a variety of documentation, training materials, and software. Your expertise will support our localization efforts, quality assurance, and terminology management, playing a key role in delivering innovative healthcare solutions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of clinical, administrative, and financial documentation from English to German, and vice versa
• Manage and execute important translation projects with autonomy and independence
• Collaborate closely with implementation, technical support, and sales teams to produce software tailored for German-speaking healthcare organizations
• Contribute to our localization efforts, ensuring cultural and contextual appropriateness

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)
• Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Experience translating from American English into German is strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain appropriate feeling, tone, and style in translations
• Knowledge of Epic software is not required; training will be provided
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
