About the Position

Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

Role Overview

As a Translator at Epic, you'll utilize your extensive language skills to clearly and accurately translate a variety of documentation, training materials, and software for a global leader in electronic medical records technology. Your contributions will influence our localization efforts, quality assurance, and terminology maintenance.

Our translators enjoy a high degree of autonomy and independence, managing and executing key translation projects. You'll be actively involved in our clinical, administrative, and financial products, collaborating closely with our implementation, technical support, and sales teams to develop innovative software solutions for German-speaking healthcare organizations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience translating from American English into German strongly preferred
  • Ability to maintain appropriate feeling, tone, and style in translations
  • Knowledge of Epic software is not required — training provided!
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
