Position Overview

Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

About the Role

As a Translator at Epic, you will leverage your extensive language skills to accurately translate a variety of documentation, training materials, and software. Your work will directly influence our localization efforts, quality assurance, and terminology maintenance.

Translators enjoy a significant degree of autonomy, managing and executing important translation projects. You’ll collaborate closely with our clinical, administrative, and financial teams to develop innovative software solutions for German-speaking healthcare organizations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed) 💼
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience translating from American English into German is strongly preferred
  • Ability to maintain appropriate feeling, tone, and style in translations
  • Knowledge of Epic software is not required — training provided!
  • COVID-19 vaccination 💉
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
