🔹 The Role

As a German Transcreator and Linguist, you will become an integral member of our dedicated linguistic teams, working within a dynamic and international environment. Your key responsibilities include:

• Translating and transcreating marketing and IT content from English to German
• Performing linguistic reviews and quality assurance checks
• Checking terminology consistency through management of TMs, glossaries, and style guides
• Providing linguistic guidance and coordination across the German team
• Occasionally working on-site at clients' offices to contribute to impactful brands

🔹 What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is passionate about language, detail-oriented, and culturally savvy. Key qualities include:

• Native German speaker with a degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation, or a related field
• Proven editorial, journalistic, or social media experience with major IT accounts or luxury retail brands
• Extensive experience in transcreating, proofreading, copywriting, and journalism
• Culturally aware with deep knowledge of local culture and language trends
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken), capable of translating as if originally written in German
• Familiarity with US American culture and pop culture for effective transcreation
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for languages
• Flexibility to travel abroad several times a year and work beyond standard hours if needed
• Adept at working under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Based in Germany or well-connected to demonstrate cultural awareness

🔹 Additional Skills & Preferences

• Knowledge of CAT tools, PEMT
• Experience with Mac, iPhone technologies
