ProSidian is seeking a German Language Specialist | Language and Cultural Education to support military language training and cultural understanding in a dynamic environment. 🚀

Job Overview

Provide expert services as a Language and Culture Services Support (German Language Specialist) within the Education and Academia Industry Sector, focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as the Department of Army and Fort Liberty, North Carolina. This engagement supports the U.S. Army's mission of global readiness and operational excellence.

Position Details

• Location: Fort Liberty, North Carolina 28307
• Hours: 2080 hours annually
• Contract Type: Contingent, Exempt Contract (W-2, 1099 options available)
• Team: Senior Technical Writer, Mid-Level Exempt Professional

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct German language instruction, emphasizing military applications 🇩🇪🎖️
• Develop lesson plans and Points of Instruction (POIs) integrating language proficiency with cultural understanding
• Administer language proficiency assessments and provide ongoing feedback
• Foster an immersive learning environment utilizing multimedia and advanced technology 🖥️📱

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in German
• Experience with military language training preferred

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Education, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a military context

Skills Required

• Fluency in German, with a focus on military terminology
• Ability to design culturally relevant, immersive language lessons
• Proficiency with technology tools used in language training
