About the Role

Responsibilities

• Challenge and evaluate advanced language models on complex German language topics such as:
  • Verb conjugation
  • Case system (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive)
  • Word order and declensions
  • Gender and stylistic variation
• Document failure modes to help improve model reasoning and robustness.
• Engage in daily interactions with the AI model, verifying factual accuracy and logical consistency.
• Capture error traces and suggest enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in German language, linguistics, or a closely related field
• Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects are a plus
• Clear, metacognitive communication style—demonstrating your reasoning process is essential

What We Offer

Compensation ranges from $6 to $65 per hour, determined based on your experience, expertise, and location. Final rates may vary from the listed range. This is a contract position with the following details:
