Position Overview
The General Studies Head Teacher will lead a classroom of young students, delivering high-quality instruction across core subjects while ensuring each child's academic, social, and emotional needs are met. This role involves creating engaging lessons, differentiating instruction, assessing progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead classroom instruction in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies 📘✖️🔬🌍
- Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learners ✨
- Assess student progress regularly and effectively
- Collaborate closely with Judaic Studies and Hebrew language teachers 🤝
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment 🌈
- Manage classroom behavior and foster social-emotional development
Qualifications
- Passion for education and student development
- Experience in elementary school teaching, preferably in general studies
