Our client is looking for a Japanese-fluent General Counsel, Senior In-House Counsel, or Corporate Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will engage in diverse practice areas, including labor & employment, corporate law, and litigation. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong legal background, an active bar license in good standing, and a proven track record in similar roles.

Key qualifications:

• Fluency in Japanese — speaking, reading, and writing proficiently
• Experience working directly with partners and clients
• Ability to support multiple practice groups
• In-house legal experience strongly preferred
• Japanese writing sample is a plus
