About Sinai Hospital

As a regional medical campus affiliated with George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWSMHS), Sinai Hospital serves the greater Baltimore area along with national and international patients. This nonprofit teaching hospital trains over 140 residents and 400 medical students annually, emphasizing excellence in patient care and medical education.

We Are Looking for a Gastroenterologist Who Holds the Following Qualifications:

• MD from an accredited medical school – Required
• Board eligibility or certification in Gastroenterology with completed GI fellowship
• Maryland Medical License – Possession or eligibility without restrictions
• Current CDS license, DEA certificate
• BLS and ACLS certification
• EGD/Colonoscopies – Preferred
• Teamwork – Ability to work collaboratively
• Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply

A Fantastic Practice with Exceptional Opportunities

• Diagnose and treat disorders of the gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic systems in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Supervise and collaborate with residents and medical students
• Perform and interpret tests such as endoscopies and colonoscopies
• Manage follow-up care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans
• Stay current with the latest trends, research, and innovative practices
• Supervise inpatient Physician Assistants (PAs) on call
• Participate in peer reviews, quality assurance, and clinical meetings
• Ensure timely documentation and billing of patient encounters
