✨ Job Overview
The Universal Banker is an entry-level role dedicated to assisting with sales, product offerings, and customer service activities in collaboration with our customer service team. The main goal is to foster strong client relationships to build loyalty and drive sales growth among individual consumer clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic account opening procedures for existing customers
- Provide exceptional service delivery to internal and external customers, resolving account service issues efficiently
- Execute financial transactions following bank policies and procedures
- Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate
- Create sales opportunities through service transactions and address customer complaints promptly
- Support sales and service initiatives within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives
- Follow operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory standards, to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
- Assess risks appropriately during business decisions, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and safeguarding Citi’s reputation and assets
- Demonstrate sound ethical judgment and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in retail banking or similar field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating clarity and conciseness
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
