Job Description

As a Hebrew Teacher at our community Jewish day school, you will work closely with the Director of Judaic Studies to deliver engaging Hebrew instruction to students in our Elementary 3rd and 4th grades and Middle School 6th through 8th grades.

Summary of the Role

Position: Full-time (50 periods)

Location: Gottesman RTW Academy, Morris County

Student Range: Pre-school to Eighth Grade

Requirements

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Education
• 🧑‍🏫 At least 3 years of experience as a Hebrew Teacher in a Day School
• 🌐 Trained in Ulpan-Or, NETA, or iTalam
• 💻 Basic computer skills
• 🛡️ Background check required, including fingerprinting
• 🇺🇸 Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
• 📝 References required

Compensation & Perks

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience 💰

Days Off: School vacations and Jewish holidays 🗓️
