About the Role

We are seeking a skilled translator with proficiency in French—either native or near-native—to convert our PDF sewing patterns and instructions from English to French. This is a long-term project with numerous patterns awaiting translation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Language proficiency: Native or near-native level in French
• Technical knowledge: Experience with sewing terminology and garment construction
• Translation quality: All translations must be done manually and naturally—no machine or AI-generated translations accepted
• Technical proficiency: Ability to edit directly into PDF files using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Illustrator

What to Expect

This initial phase includes a paid test assignment to assess your translation skills. If successful, you'll have the opportunity to work on a large number of sewing patterns over the long term!
